If you’re looking for a way to make a bad situation worse, you've picked a great way to do it.

Short of locking them up around the clock, you literally can't stop teens from having sex if they want to. And if you withhold access to contraception, you're going to end up with a lot more pregnant teens.

They were wrong.

Atheists, there is a god up there in heaven and he loves you so much that he sent his son to die the worst death imaginable and then to turn into a zombie all to save you from sin. Why do you reject him?

I started having sex at fourteen. If I hadn't had access to contraception, it wouldn't have stopped me from having sex. But it would almost certainly have resulted in one or more teen pregnancies.

My favorite playmate back then was the daughter of a church deacon and butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth. I guarantee you that her parents were certain she was too pure and too good a Christian to have sex with that weird Edwards boy down the road.

You can pretend that it won't happen to kids who are raised in good households by attentive parents, but you'll be fooling yourself.
